Minicourse Recordings
"Morris County, USA:  A Living Tapestry" with Jim DelGiudice

You can access audio recordings of the lectures below. The recordings are provided in a compressed audio format, called MP3. They can be played on your computer by simply left-clicking on the appropriate link below.

The files can also be downloaded to your computer by right clicking on the link and then choosing "Save target as" (Internet Explorer) or "Save link as" (Firefox.) Each file is very large, so the download time will be long unless you have a broadband connection. The quality is adequate for voice but not for music.

Once downloaded the files can be played on your computer or can be transferred to a portable MP3 player, like the IPOD or one of the many other MP3 players. If your computer can "burn" (record) CDs you can tranfer the files to a CD. The CD can then be played on most DVD players or on an MP3-capable CD player. (It will not play on conventional CD players, however.)

If you have problems, you can contact Frank Benedict at fdb@aya.yale.edu. We usually put the recordings of each week's classes online by Thursday or Friday.
