"The Great War and Modern Memory" with William Rogers
You can access audio recordings of the lectures below. The recordings are provided in a compressed audio format, called MP3. They can be played on your computer by simply left-clicking on the appropriate link below.
The files can also be downloaded to your computer by right clicking on the link and then choosing "Save target as" (Internet Explorer) or "Save link as" (Firefox.) Each file may be as much as 25 MBytes, so the download time will be about 8-10 minutes unless you have a broadband connection.
Once downloaded the files can be played on your computer or can be transferred to a portable MP3 player like the IPOD. If your computer can record ("burn") CDs you can tranfer the files to a CD. The CD can then be played on most DVD players or on an MP3-capable CD player. (It will not play on conventional CD players, however.)
If you have problems, you can contact Frank Benedict at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your browser can't find the recording, it may be that it has not been put on this website yet. Try again in a few days. The recordings will usually be put up late in the week or weekend.
